Unfortunately, I live in an area where not all the 'flavors' are available to me. One thing I have noticed is the Sizzling Grill is a bit messy when the sausages contain cheese, still delicious.

I do a lot of grilling, even in the winter, and Johnsonville sausages, in my opinion, are best on a Weber. However, if Weber grilled brats are a 100, then brats made on the Johnsonville Sizzling Grill would be a 98.that's how good it is.

The quality of the grill is very good. It can sit upright for easier storage. I do a lot of grilling, even in the winter, and Johnsonville sausages, in my opinion, are best on a Weber. However, if Weber grilled brats are a 100, then brats made on the Johnsonville Sizzling Grill would be a 98.that's how good it is. Cooks them absolutely perfect! The one caveat is that Johnsonville needs to do a better job of informing customers that they MUST use the buttons to put the grill plates back in. If you snap them in without using the buttons you're going to wear out the tab that holds them in place.

They tell you about the button to remove the plates but gloss over it when showing you re-installing the plates in a way that seems to make it look like they 'snap' in. Don't snap them in. Press the button and then push them in and release the button. Five Stars for the Grill though:). I was given this grill as a gift for Christmas. I brought up this product to my wife earlier this year and was excited as I love brats and it would be a cool addition the kitchen. My mother-in-law ended up purchasing this for me as a Christmas gift.

I unwrapped the Box and to my surprise, saw the Johnsonville Grill. After unboxing the grill and removing it from its rapping, two small metal pieces fell from the plastic bag it was wrapped in. Turning the grill over you get here a lot of loose pieces rattling around inside the grill. I called the store it was purchased from and had them submit in order for replacement.

One week later I received the replacement in the mail. Again, super excited to use this Grill I opened the packaging remove the grill and to my surprise yet again the Grill was again rattling and have loose pieces falling from the small openings on the grill. I was going to assume that this was from delivery but the Box itself look as it had been kicked around the warehouse floor the bag was Dusty the grill pads on the bottom we're scuffed and obviously the grill was damaged again. So, reluctantly I called the store and explain the situation.

Casserole

The manager I spoke to I was very surprised to see and hear that this is now going to be 1/3 time I replacement item in less than two weeks. So he ordered another replacement for me and asked if it was okay for him to open the item and Visually inspected and make sure it's working before I pick it up. After about a week or two due to a delivery delay I finally received a phone call from the manager who stated the girl had arrived it appears to be working no loose parts no weird smells and no rattling, but there was a 2-inch crack on the top of the grill. I arrived to the store to take a look and sure enough The Grill Works, but there was some more cosmetic damage.

Needless to say I was not going to accept the grill very disappointed I was never able to use it I had plans to use it that night once I found out the grill had been received. I purchased four packs of brats three packages of broad buns and all the fixings to have a nice simple dinner and use my new Johnsonville brat Grill. But I can't, and I won't, ever. This was such a major disappointment to see a company put their name on this Grill and have such low quality standards cannot make it from Lee manufacturer to the distributor without causing major headaches, cosmetic damage, and huge disappointments. I enjoy your brats, but I am now without a gift and I am not making another attempt for a replacement just to find out that this one's broken too.

I can't believe that this is happened so many times. This really bothers me, as I was looking forward to using this product. Now I've lost faith and the workmanship and quality standards that Johnsonville deems acceptable. We bought this grill when it was first advertised on the Morning Blend TV show a couple years ago. We love it because it cooks the brats without the mess, and we can have brats in the winter time! There is just one issue, we put in weiswurst (a white, chubby sausage) the other night, a non Johnsonville brand. They fit in just fine, but 5 minutes into the cooking, I heard a loud noise. The locking handle had flown off and across the room.

Not sure just what happened, perhaps the wurst expanded a little more than the lock could take? Any way, we cannot lock the covers together now, may have to buy a new grill. Just glad that no one was in the kitchen to get hit by the flying plastic.

Old method for cooking brats: Outside-Light the charcoal. Inside- Par boil brats in beer and onions on stovetop to remove enough grease so they don't spatter and blow up on the grill you hope is ready when you need it.

Grill brats and try to get them evenly cooked. Eat fries out brats.

Figure out where to dispose of beer/onion water. New Method: Place brats in the sausage grill, close the lid and press start. Saute the onion while brats are cooking. When done enjoy one of five perfectly cooked brats that have retained all the flavor.

We purchased a camper and a friend, Dale 😀 thought we'd better have a sizzling brat grill while we camp.After all, brats and camping are the perfect marriage. So he purchased us one. This grill is 'Ph'eeeenom'eeeenal' It cooks the brats to perfection!!! If you like perfectly cooked brats then this is the ticket.I read some of the reviews before writing ours. For those that want their brats, or steak 'Well Done' i.e. Please eat chicken!!!We can not say enough good things about this grill.

Its convenient, compact, easy to clean, brat cooking perfection, worth every penny you'll spend. We did get ours for free, thank you Dale. However, if you buy one, you will not be disappointed.Let me reiterate, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I have had my grill for about 8 months now and i love, love, love it.

Its so easy to deal with, just lay the sausages on it, close it up, wait for the beeping its done, open it up and enjoy. All the grease flows to rack attached below so its not in your arteries, what more could you want. I have been eating italian sausages my entire life and this is by far the absolute easiest, least messy,way to cook them up. Thank you for such a great great product. Oh yes, i should say this as well, the clean up is a cinch! I don't like to accumulate kitchen appliances, thinking that most are unnecessary space wasters. In fact the first thing I did was check out how big it is!

I love Johnsonville Italian sausages, and generally cook a package every week in the skillet. I tried out this grill tonight, and it's sooo much better than the skillet - faster, less fuss, but best of all, beautifully browned all over, and NOT soggy and soft. They were perfectly cooked throughout, and the slightly crispy outside was a great surprise!

And afterwards, it was a breeze to clean!
