I purchased this scanner to supplement an older Snap On that I have and see how well this Autel performs. After one month of use, I am very satisfied with this scanner. Everything that I have tried to do, it has done. The only things that I have not tried as of yet is any of the tasks for DPF or SAS as I have not had a vehicle come in requiring any services for that. The user interface is simple and I can find exactly what I want to find right away.
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend that anyone looking for an economical scanner look into this one. There will be updates both good and bad as time goes on and it sees more use. I bought this tool about a month ago and have been trying it out on various vehicles since then. The small vehicle side has been very good. I mostly used it on chevys and fords so far to diagnose several abs issues and also some engine codes.
Also plugged into several hondas, nissans, toyotas, and a vw or two. On every single vehicle it had a lot of capabilities, datalogging, separate module actuation tests as well as code reading capabilities on multiple different modules in each car. It even had reflashing and recalibrating abilities on most of the vehicles. I dont really have any experience with snapon but I do have some with autoenginuity and I would say this tool is better than that. I was actually able to command a regen on an 08 powerstroke that an autoenginuity program for whatever reason could not. Bank generator.

I also bought the HD module with. I can diagnose the problems, and perform a system check no problem. As for Key Immobilizer programming, I was able to program my own Key & Remote for a 2016 Camry H-Chip.
For only $30 + $5 to cut the key, it saves the $250 or more the dealer will charge you. On a 2017 Explorer - Smart Key, I was not able to get the tablet to communicate with the car. After you select USA FORD, then it goes the Immobilizer/Smart Key, and you pick the 'Smart key System' (push button start) - then it says 'Failed To Communicate'. Maybe there will be an update in the future. UPDATE: I was able to add extra Smart Keys to my Ford without the programmer. All I needed was 2 working Smart Keys. I purchased 2 extra keys and added them as 'Admin Keys' myself. It is important to have this tool to.
Ford Programmer Tool
Arrived early. Worked great. I used on a 2011 Ford Explorer. 10 minutes and done. The process take 10 minutes due to the Ford security protocol. No instructions included. There are plenty of how to videos on the web.
Straight forward process. Be sure to ask seller for compatibility with your vehicle. Also, be sure you have a bona fide OEM ignition key.
My unit was shipped from Hong Kong (same unit pictured). Again, the unit worked as promised. I hope this helps someone.
Like so many people, I purchased a car with only 1 key. Local dealer wanted 300.00 for 2 additional keys and programming. Between the keys and the unit, less than half spent. Maybe I can help a friend or family if in need. If I never use it again, its paid for itself.
