I clearly mentioned in my reply post that Office 2000 update was never supported in either Windows Update or Microsoft Update.Regarding the error while installing Office 2000 SR-1a, I would like to ask is the Office 2000 installation CD is in the CD drive or the original installation media is in place from where the Office 2000 was installed. Office 2000 CD or the installation media is required to be in place for all the Office updates to take place otherwise the update will not take place.CHECK This First. Also check the Log file.AND let us know the result.
